SECOND XI LATEST v Worcestershire
Lancashire play the first of their games in the new-look Second XI Championship against Worcestershire at Southport & Birkdale Cricket Club today. This four-day Group 1 match starts at 11am each day.
The Second XI Championship has been re-organised this season with the 18 counties split into three Conference Groups of 6 teams, each team playing 5 matches. The two teams with the best record of the three group winners will compete in the Second XI Championship Final in late September.
The other teams in Group 1 are: Essex, Gloucestershire, Leicestershire, Sussex, Worcestershire.
