Interim Men's Head Coach Steven Croft has named 16 players in his first matchday squad ahead of Lancashire Lightning's opening match of the Vitality Blast against Worcestershire Rapids tomorrow evening (6.30pm start).

Croft was appointed into the role on Wednesday morning after the departure of Dale Benkenstein and led training for the first time this afternoon.

Left-arm quick Luke Wood is available for the opening match after he was temporarily released from England's ODI squad for the series against West Indies.

The Australian overseas duo of Chris Green and Ashton Turner arrived in Manchester over the weekend, trained with the squad this week and will be available to face the Rapids.

In addition to Turner, Charlie Barnard, Michael Jones, Harry Singh and Ollie Sutton are all potential Lancashire Lightning debutants while James Anderson could play his first T20 match since August 2014.

Lightning will be without Jos Buttler, Tom Hartley and Saqib Mahmood, who are on England ODI duty against West Indies. Phil Salt and Liam Livingstone remain on IPL duty with Royal Challengers Bangalore. Rocky Flintoff is with England Lions.
