Tilly Kesteven signs first professional contract with Lancashire Women
Lancashire Cricket is delighted to announce that Tilly Kesteven has signed her first professional contract with Lancashire Women, ahead of the 2026 season.
A graduate of the Lancashire pathway, top-order batter Kesteven had a breakout season at senior level in 2025.
She had a standout display in the Vitality Women’s T20 County Cup Final, where she played a key role at the top of the order, striking 77 from 60 balls as Lancashire defeated Surrey at Taunton.
The 21-year-old from Cheshire made 14 senior appearances for Lancashire during the 2025 season after signing a short-term contract and has now put pen-to-paper on her first professional deal.

Speaking on the announcement, Kesteven said: “Signing my first full-time professional contract with Lancashire Women is something I’m incredibly proud of.
“Playing in and winning the Vitality Women’s County Cup Final was a special experience, and I’m grateful for the trust the coaches and my teammates have shown in me.
“I’m excited to keep learning from my coaches and my teammates and to keep giving everything I can for this Club.”
Director of Women’s Cricket, David Thorley, added: “Tilly has worked incredibly hard from Academy level through to senior cricket and continues to show real maturity in her game.
“Her performance in the County Cup Final was a clear example of her temperament and potential in such an important game for the Club.
“This contract is thoroughly deserved, and we’re excited to support her next steps as she continues to develop as a professional cricketer.”
