Two Lancashire players called up to Young Lions
England Men U19s have announced a squad with six uncapped players for the Youth One-Day Internationals against Ireland Men U19s and Bangladesh Men U19s.
16-year-old Lancashire fast bowler Luke Hands has received his first call up into the Young Lions after a breakthrough month in August which saw him sign his first professional contract with the Club.
Hands went on to play in five matches in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup during August, picking up two wickets and impressing with his pace.
He is joined in the squad by red rose teammate Joe Moores who also signed his first professional contract at Emirates Old Trafford last month.
Moores, also 16, featured in four One-Day Cup matches with a top score of 35 and has previously represented England Young Lions and the First Class Counties Select XI.
