With just one week until the start of the 2025 Vitality Blast, Lancashire Lightning are gearing up to launch their T20 campaign with a home fixture against Worcestershire Rapids on Thursday 29 May at Emirates Old Trafford (6:30pm start).
For the first time this summer, Lancashire Lightning and Lancashire Thunder will play side-by-side in the men’s and women’s Vitality Blast competitions with Emirates Old Trafford hosting four T20 double headers this summer.
Supporters attending matches can look forward to more than just cricket. The Fan Village at Emirates Old Trafford offers a vibrant atmosphere with a variety of food stalls, summer bars, live music, DJs, and interactive games for children, ensuring a memorable experience for all ages.
The Club’s Family Festival returns to Emirates Old Trafford as Lancashire Lightning take on Northants Steelbacks on Sunday 8 June at 1pm, whilst the venue also hosts it’s first Pride fixture as Nottinghamshire and The Blaze travel to Manchester for a double header on Sunday 31 May.
Two quickfire Roses T20s will take place in July when Lancashire Lightning host Yorkshire at Emirates Old Trafford on Friday 11 July, before the return fixture takes place across the M62 at Headingley on Thursday 17 July.
Speaking to LancsTV, Liam Livingstone said: "I am really excited to play in this summer's Vitality Blast with Lancashire Lightning - I love playing at Emirates Old Trafford and I love playing for Lancashire.
"This year, I will have even more opportunities to play for the red rose throughout the Blast campaign, we've got a really strong squad and we have a proud record, particularly at home, in the group stages.
"Hopefully I can have a big involvement in us doing something special as a team in T20 cricket this year, ten years on from 2015 it would be really nice to go on and win another."
Tickets for all home fixtures are now available, with special advance pricing offering a £5 discount on adult tickets purchased before match day.
