Player Profile

Harvey Walker is an 18-year-old right arm seamer and right-handed batter . As well as representing the Lancashire Academy, Walker attends Shrewsbury school in addition to playing his club cricket at Southport and Birkdale cricket club.

Walker made his 1st XI club cricket debut while playing at Bowdon Cricket Club in 2019. Since joining Shrewsbury, he has since won the U17 National Cup to be crowned national champions.

Harvey achieved his Lancashire Academy career best figures in a T20 fixture against Yorkshire taking 4-20 fro his four overs. Walker also has played recently for Lancashire Second XI. His debut came against Durham in September 2021 in a game which he claimed figures of 4-19 on his home ground at Southport.

In the Cricketer Magazine 2021 edition, including their top 100 cricketing schools, Walker was mentioned as one of the best cricketing prospects at Shrewsbury school.
