Accessibility

The following information is for disabled visitors to Emirates Old Trafford for domestic matches.

 

Members – Tickets for a place in the wheelchair users area and for one accompanying companion/personal assistant can be booked online please click here, direct through the Ticket and Membership Office by calling 0161 282 4000, option 1, or email using the address below.

 

Non–Members – To purchase tickets for a seat in the wheelchair users area and for one accompanying companion /personal assistant please email your request to tickets@lancashirecricket.co.uk or visit the Ticket and Membership Office directly.

 

Lancashire Cricket reserves the right to request “proof of disability” in some cases.  Such proof may include:

 

Receipt of the Disability Living Allowance (mid-rate care OR high rate mobility component).

Receipt of either the Severe Disablement Allowance or Attendance Allowance

War Pensioners’ Mobility Allowance

Blind or partially sighted registration certificate – BD8 Certificate

A personal letter from your GP, community nurse or social worker

Provision of a free companion/personal assistant ticket

 

Where a supporter would find it unreasonably difficult or impossible to access the services offered, the Club will allow the supporter to bring an companion/personal assistant free of charge. This meets the conditions of the Club providing a “reasonable adjustment”/auxiliary service under the Equality Act (formerly the DDA). Any supporter who can supply one of the “proof of disability” documents will automatically qualify for the free ticket (if requested). Supporters without such proof will be considered on an individual case and may be asked to complete a ‘Proof of Disability Registration Form.

 

Parking

Parking for disabled people is available on site on a first-come, first-served basis. If there is a high demand on the day for accessible parking our stewards will do their best to assist you in finding a suitable space.

 

A limited number of permits for Blue Badge Holders are available for purchase from the Ticket and Membership Office. However, a small number of spaces for Blue Badge Holders will be retained for those attending on the day.

 

Access around site

 

There is level access around site; however, if you encounter any difficulties please ask the nearest steward for assistance.

 

Seating

 

Wheelchair User Areas

 

Seating is unreserved for the following areas:-

 

B Stand – access through the Red Rose gap (there are games when this stand is closed for all spectators, please check our website a few days prior to the game or ask a steward who can let you know on the day which stand is available)

 

C Stand – access at the side of the stand opposite the outside nets. (There are games when this stand is closed for all spectators, please check our website a few days prior to the game or ask a steward who can let you know on the day which stand is available)

 

E stand – Elevated platform viewing area – access through the front of the Point using the lift.

 

All access is via level ground apart from the elevated seating on E stand which is accessed via a lift.

 

The Red Rose Suite is located on the second floor of the Red Rose Building and unfortunately there is no lift access.

 

Toilets

There are accessible toilet facilities in the concourses of all stands. There are also facilities for disabled people within the Pavilion for Members and within The Point on the first floor, accessed through the Atrium Bar area. A steward will be able to direct you to the most convenient / nearest toilet. RADAR keys are being installed to all concourse toilets and stewards will be provided with a key who will be able to facilitate access.

Assistance Dogs

 

The Club welcomes all assistance dogs on site, should water be needed please request this from your nearest steward or member of staff. Please inform the Ticket and Membership Office if you wish to bring an assistance dog. Unfortunately there is no designated exercise/relieving area for assistance dogs; if this is required please contact the Club on the email address below.

 

The Club is regularly audited by an independent disabled person who acts as a mystery shopper and based on the feedback received the Club works to improve the facilities for disabled people where possible. We wish to ensure an enjoyable day for all our guests, and welcome your feedback.

 

We have recently undertaken some improvements within the ground and have a Board approved plan of works that will be actioned over the course of the next few years.
