Liam Livingstone signs new three-year T20 contract with Lancashire Lightning
Lancashire Cricket is delighted to announce that all-rounder Liam Livingstone has signed a new three-year T20 contract, committing his future to the Red Rose through to the end of the 2028 Vitality Blast.
The agreement sees one of the world cricket’s most explosive short-format players extend his long association with the Club, committing to playing in the Blast for the next three seasons.
32-year-old Livingstone made his 100th T20 appearance for Lancashire Lightning during September’s Vitality Blast semi-final against Somerset at Edgbaston.
He is Lancashire’s second leading all-time T20 run-scorer with 2,619 - and in 2025 went beyond 7,000 career T20 runs for all teams. With his right-arm spin, Livingstone has claimed 60 T20 wickets for Lancashire and now has a career tally of 143 at an average of 25.
In addition to achieving 99 white ball caps for England, Livingstone is an ICC T20 World Cup champion and also won the Indian Premier League with Royal Challengers Bengaluru last year.

Speaking about his new contract, Liam Livingstone said: “Lancashire is home for me, and I’m incredibly proud to commit my next three years of domestic T20 cricket to the Club.
“White ball cricket and the Blast mean a lot to our supporters; we have a brilliant T20 side at Lancashire and we are all hungry to help bring silverware back to Emirates Old Trafford.
“We’ve had some special moments together - the quarter-final against Kent last September really stands out – and I can’t wait to get going again in front of our fans this summer.”
