Marcus Harris added to 15-man squad to face Derbyshire

Head Coach Steven Croft has named a 15-man squad for Lancashire Cricket’s opening home Rothesay County Championship fixture of the season, which begins on Friday against Derbyshire at Emirates Old Trafford.

Australian overseas batter Marcus Harris has been added to the matchday squad following last week’s drawn season opener against Northamptonshire at Wantage Road.

The 33-year-old returned to Manchester at the start of this week for the second of his three seasons with the Red Rose, having scored over 1,000 runs in last season’s County Championship.

Ajeet Singh Dale is in line to make his home debut for Lancashire after impressing on his full debut last week, taking two wickets and contributing an unbeaten 44 in the second innings.

Josh Bohannon is set to make his 100th first-class appearance this week (93 for Lancashire, six for England Lions).

Keaton Jennings and Tom Aspinwall remain unavailable due to injury and continue their rehabilitation with the Club’s medical staff.
