Member Update

Member Update

With the new County Championship season just a few weeks away now, the Club would like to update Members on several operational areas ahead of the summer.

Following a review of our operational arrangements and the overall Member experience, Lancashire Cricket would like to confirm access and facility details for this season’s County Championship and One-Day Cup fixtures at Emirates Old Trafford.

Pedestrian Access

Members will be able to enter Emirates Old Trafford via the following gates:
•    Gate 1 (Talbot Road)
•    Gates 3 and 5 (Brian Statham Way)
•    The pedestrian gate between Gates 10 and 11 (Great Stone Road)

Vehicle Access

Vehicle entry and exit will be via:
•    Gates 10 and 11 (Great Stone Road)

Entry and Ticketing

There will be two ticket checkpoints, one located between the Pavilion and the Hilton Garden Inn Manchester Emirates Old Trafford and the other at Gate 5 on Brian Statham Way.

As in previous years, our stewards will be carrying out routine bag checks at entry points. As a reminder, you are welcome to bring one small bag per person. It must be no bigger than 18” x 12” x 12” (45cm x 30cm x 30cm) - about the size of a regular backpack or rucksack.

The Ticket Office will be open from 9:00am until the end of the Tea interval.

Member Seating and Facilities

All stands will be available to Members.

Either Upper Stand B or Upper Stand C will be open, depending on which wicket is in use (please note this may vary by fixture).

Accessible seating is available in Stands B, C, E and on the Pavilion Terrace. Caffè Nero is accessible via the concourse door located in Stand A.

Upgrades and Indoor Spaces

The Middle Balcony remains available as an upgrade at £5 per person and can be booked through the Ticket Office team.

The Edge will be open as an indoor Members’ space during the following times:

•    11:00am – 4:00pm (Monday - Friday)
•    12:00pm – 4:00pm (Saturday - Sunday)

The Hodgkiss Bar will also be open during these hours.

Introduction of Reusable Cups

From the 2026 season, we are introducing a reusable cup system at Emirates Old Trafford for all matchdays. This initiative forms part of our wider sustainability commitment and aims to reduce the Club’s environmental impact.

A £1 levy will be applied to a supporter’s first drink purchase. Once the levy has been paid, supporters can return to the bar with their cup and exchange it for a clean one without paying the levy again.

By moving to reusable cups, we can significantly reduce the volume of waste produced on matchdays, decrease litter around the stadium and lower our overall environmental impact. This could result in approximately 400,000 fewer cups entering waste streams compared to previous years.

The levy helps cover the costs of operating the scheme, including cup rental, washing, quality control and distribution. All remaining proceeds will be donated to the Lancashire Cricket Foundation.

Within Members’ areas and hospitality suites, drinks purchased and consumed indoors will continue to be served in glassware and no levy will apply. However, if you wish to take your drink outside, you will need to return to the bar, collect a reusable cup and pay the £1 levy.

Car Parking

Rothesay County Championship and Metro Bank One Day Cup seasonal parking passes are available to purchase. These cover all Men’s Rothesay County Championship and Metro Bank One Day Cup fixtures at Emirates Old Trafford and are priced at £101.

Please click here to purchase or call 0161 868 6808.

Arriving by bike

We have increased the number of bike racks and locations around the stadium. They can be found at the Ticket Office, Gate 3 and gates 10/11.

Retail

Member feedback was shared with the Club’s third-party retail provider, Castore. They have taken this feedback on board, particularly in relation to stock availability and the souvenir range. The Club Shop will be open throughout the duration of the day.

Pitch access

We are pleased to inform you that spectators will be able to access the outfield during the tea break at Rothesay County Championship fixtures taking place at Emirates Old Trafford. Every effort will be made to allow access on each fixture but please be aware that there may be occasions where access isn’t possible.

Updates will be communicated on the day.

Membership Packs

Following on from last year, the Club has made a concerted effort to distribute membership packs and cards considerably earlier than in 2025. Packs began arriving with Members in February - the earliest they have ever been dispatched and delivered. All Members have also been issued with a digital card.

If you have any questions regarding this or if you have requested a physical card but are yet to receive it, please email [email protected].
