The ‘90s is calling - Lancashire Cricket unveil new Castore playing shirts for 2026
Lancashire Cricket has today unveiled the Club’s brand-new 2026 Vitality Blast playing shirts - reimagining a true '90s classic, created by official kit supplier Castore.
Inspired by the iconic shirt worn in the '90s, this retro revival brings the past into the present, blending heritage design with the demands of the modern game ahead of this summer's Vitality Blast.
To celebrate the launch, Club legend Warren Hegg - who wore the original shirt in the '90s - returned to showcase the remake, capturing the connection between generations of Red Rose cricket.

The new playing shirt will be worn by both Lancashire Lightning and Lancashire Thunder during this year’s Vitality Blast, combining a striking red base with bold, unmistakable green and navy that channels the energy of ‘90s cricket.

Alongside the T20 shirt launch, Lancashire Cricket has also unveiled the Club's new County Championship whites and One Day Cup playing shirt for the 2026 season, completing the collection for the new campaign.

Lancashire Men will wear their new whites for the first time on Friday, as the 2026 season begins against Northamptonshire. Lancashire Women will pull on the new navy 50-over shirt for the first time in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup against Durham on 11 April.
The 2026 playing shirts will be available soon at the Lancashire Cricket Store at Emirates Old Trafford - and online via Castore - with further details to follow.
