Danny Lamb joins Gloucestershire on loan
Lancashire Cricket all-rounder Danny Lamb has joined Gloucestershire on an initial 14-day loan.
The 27-year-old goes straight into Gloucestershire’s squad for this evening’s Vitality Blast South Group match away to Essex at Chelmsford.
Lamb has made one First Team appearance this season – during Lancashire Lightning’s win over Derbyshire Falcons in the Vitality Blast Off at Edgbaston.
Director of Cricket Performance Mark Chilton said: “This is a great chance for Danny to go out and get some game time after having limited First Team opportunities so far this season.
“Danny remains an important squad player for us, but we believe it is important for him to be playing competitive cricket.
“We are looking forward to seeing how he performs during the next couple of weeks.”
