George Balderson has reached 2,500 first-class runs during his innings but he should have been out moments ago when top edging a sweep high to Duanne Olivier on the square leg boundary. But in the swirling, gusting wind Olivier spilled the chance after putting a desperate dive. The bowler, one wicket shy of a five-fer, did not look amused!

Four byes get the scoreboard moving after Josh Bohannon leaves a Duanne Olivier delivery that scuttles past Ollie Robinson standing back.

Kasey Aldridge is sharing the early bowling duties for Durham.
