Chris Green returns as Lancashire name squad for Middlesex clash

Steven Croft has named a 13-man squad for Lancashire Men's Rothesay County Championship fixture against Middlesex, starting tomorrow at Emirates Old Trafford.

Australian overseas signing Chris Green is available for selection after linking up with the squad earlier than originally planned. The 32-year-old arrived in Manchester at the start of this week following the Pakistan Super League. Green will be available for Lancashire's next four Championship matches, in addition to the Vitaity Blast.

Lancashire are without Ajeet Singh Dale, Arav Shetty and Luke Wells, after it was confirmed last week that the trio would all undergo surgery on the injuries suffered last month.

Paul Coughlin misses out this week, due to a minor injury.

Tom Aspinwall and Jack Blatherwick also continue their rehabilitation with the Club's medical team.

Heading into the match, Lancashire sit third in Division Two on 60 points, 11 behind leaders Durham, while Middlesex occupy fifth place on 49 points after a mixed start of one win, two draws and one defeat.
