Kyle Hogg returns for Red Ball Celebration fixture
Lancashire Cricket can announce that 2011 County Championship winner Kyle Hogg will return to Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground for the Club’s Red Ball Celebration fixture against Northamptonshire.
Hogg will take part in a Q&A session for Members on Day Three (Saturday 22 August) of the Rothesay County Championship fixture. It will take place in the Members' Lounge at the lunch break.
Hogg, who represented the Red Rose for 12 seasons between 2002 and 2014, was a key member of Lancashire’s County Championship-winning team of 2011, a campaign in which he took 50 wickets. In total, he took 247 first-class wickets for the Red Rose in 95 matches, at an average of 27 runs per wicket, with career-best bowling figures of 7/29.
Following his retirement, Hogg worked for SJM Concerts before returning to Lancashire as Girls’ County Age Group Performance Manager in 2021. He has most recently worked with England Under-19s, including at the ICC Under-19 World Cup earlier this year.
The Club’s inaugural Red Ball Celebration fixture forms part of its commitment to growing attendances for county cricket. Members will be able to claim two additional complimentary tickets on any day of their choice, offering the perfect opportunity to share the experience with friends and family.
Northamptonshire County Cricket Club has been provided with a discount link for its Members, with adult tickets available to purchase for just £10 per day.
Junior tickets are priced at just £1 per day for all four days, making this an ideal opportunity to introduce the next generation to first-class cricket – particularly during the school holidays.

“The Club’s Members were always incredibly supportive when I played, so I’m looking forward to coming back and seeing some familiar faces, I’m sure.
“Red Ball cricket, and the County Championship in particular, means so much to me. It’s where I had some of my proudest moments in the game, and 2011 will obviously always stand out.”
