Lancashire Cricket to host Red Ball Celebration fixture at Emirates Old Trafford
Lancashire Cricket is delighted to announce the launch of its inaugural Red Ball Celebration fixture, taking place during the Rothesay County Championship clash against Northamptonshire, starting on Thursday 20 August at Emirates Old Trafford.
Created to celebrate the traditions and enduring appeal of first-class cricket, the four-day celebration will combine on-field action with off-field activities.
As part of the Club’s commitment to growing attendances for county cricket, Lancashire Members will be able to claim two additional complimentary tickets on any day of their choice, offering the perfect opportunity to share the experience with friends and family.
Junior tickets are priced at just £1 per day for all four days, making this an ideal opportunity to introduce the next generation to first-class cricket - particularly during the school holidays.
Across the match, a variety of activities will showcase and champion the red-ball game. Supporters can enjoy surprise prize giveaways, former player Q&A sessions as well as informal cricket activations at the ground.
Supporters will also have the opportunity to walk on the iconic Emirates Old Trafford outfield during tea intervals on each day (weather permitting).
