Lancashire Cricket to host Test Event at Farington Cricket Ground
Lancashire Cricket will host its first test event with supporters at Farington Cricket Ground on Wednesday 8 July as the Club prepares to welcome the public to its new venue for the first time.
The event will feature an Under-16 Girls' 50-over match between Lancashire and Cheshire, with gates opening at 10am and play scheduled to begin at 11am.
Tickets
Tickets will go on sale at 10am on Wednesday 1 July.
Members can reserve their place free of charge, while general admission tickets are available for £1. Capacity for the event is limited to 1,000 general admission places with no reserved seats.
Members' tickets will be loaded onto membership cards, while purchased tickets will be delivered via the app.
Unfortunately for this event there is no allocated area for 1864 Members.
Getting There
Please be aware that the car park at Farington Cricket Ground is not yet complete and, therefore, there will be no on-site parking available for this event. Supporters are strongly encouraged to travel by public transport where possible.
The nearest railway stations are Lostock Hall, which is approximately an 11-minute walk from the ground, and Leyland, which is around a 35-minute walk or a 10-minute journey by public transport. Please plan your journey in advance.
Supporters wishing to travel by car can find parking options via YourParkingSpace. Please also note that there will be no shuttle buses operating from Emirates Old Trafford for this event.
On the Day
The professional oval at Farington Cricket Ground features 750 fixed seats. Supporters are also encouraged to bring their own seating or make use of the grass banking surrounding the ground.
A limited food and beverage offering will be available within the main Pavilion building. Portable toilet facilities will be in place, and baby-changing facilities are also available in the Pavilion.
