Lancashire name squad for Metro Bank One-Day Cup opener against Surrey
Lancashire Head Coach Steven Croft has named his first squad for the Metro Bank One-Day Cup as the Red Rose take on Surrey at Sedbergh School tomorrow.
George Balderson will captain throughout this year's 50-over competition, whilst Arav Shetty returns for the first time since the end of April following injury.
Both Rocky Flintoff and Joe Moores are named in the squad initially, although they are currently playing for England U19s for the second Youth Test, which started last Friday at Hove.
Sir James Anderson will not feature in the competition, whilst seven Lancashire players will be unavailable due to their participation in The Hundred, including Tom Aspinwall, Jos Buttler, Tom Hartley, Liam Livingstone, Saqib Mahmood, Phil Salt and Luke Wood.
