Lancashire name squad to face Leicestershire Foxes
Lancashire Head Coach Steven Croft has named a 14-man squad for tomorrow's Metro Bank One-Day Cup fixture against Leicestershire at Grace Road.
It is Lancashire's second match of the Metro Bank One-Day Cup campaign, following the side's defeat to Surrey at Sedbergh earlier this week.
As confirmed previously, Sir James Anderson won’t feature in the competition, whilst seven Lancashire players will be unavailable due to their participation in The Hundred, including Tom Aspinwall, Jos Buttler, Tom Hartley, Liam Livingstone, Saqib Mahmood, Phil Salt and Luke Wood.
Lancashire Cricket can confirm that Michael Jones has been made available to represent Scotland in the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier, which begins on 3 August. In line with the Club's strategy for the Metro Bank One-Day Cup, this will provide more opportunities for Lancashire's talented young players to gain valuable senior experience and accelerate their development towards regular first-team and County Championship cricket.
Paul Coughlin and Jack Blatherwick are returning to full fitness and are expected to return to the squad soon.
Squad to face Leicestershire:
George Balderson*, Tom Bailey, Charlie Barnard, George Bell, Josh Bohannon, Rocky Flintoff, Marcus Harris, Matty Hurst, Keaton Jennings, Joe Moores, Arav Shetty, Harry Singh, Mitch Stanley, Ollie Sutton
