The umpires have made an inspection, and the good news is that play will start at 11.15am.

Better news, the rain has stopped and the groundstaff are taking the covers off. Hopefully there will be an inspection of the conditions shortly.
9.30am
We have a wet start in Manchester ahead of day two of our Rothesay County Championship match with Durham.
The covers remain place and we are hopeful this rain will pass soon. Once there is any news about a pitch inspection, we will update this page.
