Red Ball Celebration Fixture at Emirates Old Trafford
Lancashire Cricket will host an inaugural Red Ball Celebration when Northamptonshire visit Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground from Thursday 20 to Sunday 23 August, celebrating the County Championship.
The four-day celebration will combine the best of County Championship cricket with a range of activities and experiences for supporters of all ages, creating an opportunity to enjoy the game both on and off the field during the school holidays.
As part of the Club’s commitment to growing attendances for county cricket, Lancashire Members can claim two additional complimentary tickets for any day of their choice.
Northamptonshire County Cricket Club has been provided with a discount link for its Members, with adult tickets available to purchase for just £10 per day.
Junior tickets are priced at just £1 per day for all four days, making this an ideal opportunity to introduce the next generation to first-class cricket – particularly during the school holidays.
Lunchtime admission is available for £10 and free entry after tea, throughout the fixture.
With the school holidays still underway, there will be plenty for younger fans and families to enjoy alongside the cricket. The Lancashire Cricket Foundation will be in the fan village on Days One and Two with cricket games and activations, while supporters can spin the wheel to win Lancashire Cricket prizes.
Lanky will be making an appearance for photos, while the players will be happy to get autographs and photos throughout the game. A selection of food and drink concessions will also be available in the fan village.
Supporters will also be allowed to walk on the iconic Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground outfield during tea intervals on each day, weather permitting.
Lancashire Members can hear from former players, with Dane Vilas, Kyle Hogg and Mal Loye hosting lunchtime Q&As in the Members' Lounge across the game.
