Steven Croft names 14-man squad for Roses T20 at Headingley

Steven Croft has named a 14-man squad to take on Yorkshire in the first Roses T20 of the season tomorrow night.

Lancashire Lightning travel to Headingley in the Vitality Blast North Group, with the match set to be broadcast live on Sky Sports Cricket at 7pm.

Following the news earlier today that Australian all-rounder Chris Green has been ruled out for the remainder of the competition due to a fractured thumb, fellow Australian Marcus Harris has been included in the squad.

Harris, who signed with the Club for the full Rothesay County Championship season, has remained in the UK ahead of the next round of red-ball fixtures and now joins up with the T20 squad and could make his Vitality Blast debut at Headingley.

Luke Wood is set to make his first apperance of the season for Lancashire Lightning after returning from the Indian Premier League (IPL) earlier this week.

Saqib Mahmood is also named in the squad before joining England Lions for the final two 50-over matches of their series against South Africa A.

Phil Salt is continuing his recovery from a finger injury sustained during the IPL with the ECB medical team. Jos Buttler is resting after playing in Sunday's final for Gujarat Titans.

James Anderson, Jack Blatherwick and Paul Coughlin continue to miss out after picking up injuries during the opening stages of the Blast. Ajeet Singh Dale, Arav Shetty and Luke Wells remain long-term absentees.

Lancashire Lightning squad to face Yorkshire:

Keaton Jennings (C), Tom Aspinwall, George Balderson, Charlie Barnard, Marcus Harris, Tom Hartley, Matty Hurst, Michael Jones, Liam Livingstone, Saqib Mahmood, Ben McDermott, Joe Moores, Harry Singh, Luke Wood

Lancashire, sat fourth in the North, travel across the Pennines to face group leaders Yorkshire. The Red Rose have won one and lost two so far, while the White Rose have won three and lost one.
